The internship program at IYF actively targets college students who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and/or with another underrepresented group. BIPOC, LGBTQIA , and other historically marginalized people face many institutional barriers, and their talent and leadership are underrepresented in the international development sector. IYF is committed to removing these barriers. This program offers emerging leaders from underrepresented communities and diverse ethnic backgrounds the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a wide range of programmatic, financial, and administrative functions within an international nonprofit.
