We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician 1. This position will work with the Corporate IT Team in our Clackamas Oregon branch.

The IT Support Technician 1, under direct supervision, provide deskside and remote support to users of fixed and mobile computers during morning and afternoon shifts. Act as a first level problem identification and resolution resource, including answering questions, providing advice, investigating, troubleshooting, and following-up to assist users with technical issues. Coordinate user problem resolution with other Techs and Department if necessary. Track and report recurring problems. Great customer service is a must.

Responsibilities:

• • Assists users by answering technical questions and providing support in a timely manner.
• • Neatly Setup, Teardown and Move user workstations.
• • Provide technical support for roughly 300 Windows PCs in 5 Sites
• • Assess users’ equipment needs and see to them accordingly.
• • Support users of Android and Apple mobile devices
• • Support users of ShoreTel and GoToConnect Phone systems
• • Escalate and Follow Up on System Issues to External Agencies as required.
• • Communicate status of technical issues to nontechnical users
• • Record and track user issues.
• • Active Directory administration.
• • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• • Knowledge of modern cables, port, and related tech paraphernalia
• • Experience with Windows 10
• • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• • Excellent interpersonal skills.
• • Ability to explain technical information in understandable language to nontechnical staff members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
