Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. This is a critical role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing parts, and repairing equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Repair or replace faulty components using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address any urgent issues
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and hand tools
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and high voltage equipment is a plus
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
- Schematic reading
- Experience in industrial maintenance is preferred
