Apps Engineer - OEM

Industrial OEM ISO technical apps engineer to join a top tier team and drive growth.

Responsibilities: 

· Collaborates with Sales department to prepare emissions destruction solutions for customers utilizing company offerings.
· Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice and includes specific tools top select and size equipment such as resolving conflicting design requirements
· Leads Solution identification effort internally as well as coordinating in technical areas between client, suppliers, and contractor
· Communicates complex technical issues and supports project management providing design input regarding process improvement, reliability, and safety
· Technically competent understand selected equipment sizing and application with regard to cost, value, application suitability, safety, and reliability
· Performs design calculations and prepares equipment or material specifications
· Reviews/analyzes bids to make technical recommendations on vendor offerings
· Reviews customer specifications to ensure solution compliance.
· Approach all designs with safety as top priorities
· Performs other duties as assigned by manager
· Develops conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals
· Travel to customer sites required based on project demands.

Requirements: 

• Three to Five years related experience mechanical industry, chemical process, gas process and/or technical experience
• The following specific technical experience is desirable:
  • Flare and thermal oxidizers (Regenerative / recuperative)
  • Catalytic Oxidation / Reduction
  • Waste heat recovery systems
  • Scrubbers, baghouses, industrial ovens or furnaces
  • Emissions regulation, calculation or permitting
  • Packaged equipment
• Experience in Solidworks and Autocad
• Knowledge and understanding of Fluid flow principles, Thermal Systems, Mechanical design & Structural analysis
• Understanding of ASME, AISC, OSHA, AGA & ASTM standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
