International Protective Service, Inc. (IPS) is seeking quality candidates for the position of Armed Security Officer in Phoenix, AZ.

  • IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR APPLICANTS HOLDING A CURRENT ARMED GUARD CARD.

Applicants MUST meet ALL of the following MINIMAL requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Be able to purchase all required gear (ie. duty belt, holsters, etc.) Uniform provided.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid State Driver's License
  • Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be either a United States citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must NOT have been convicted of, or pled guilty or nolo contendere to, a criminal offense in any state, territory, district of the United States or foreign country, that would exclude you from obtaining/maintaining a Security Guard License.
  • Have a clean Driving Record & provide a copy from the State
  • MUST currently hold or be able to obtain a Guard Card through the State of Arizona.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
  • Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Prior employment, criminal and credit history will be verified.

Current/Former/Retired Law Enforcement or Military experience PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
