Description
Title: Production Associate
Reports to: Supervisor – Assembly and Packaging
Position Description:
Performs repetitive & routine tasks as per established standards and as directed by supervisors. Measured against expectations including productivity standards consistent with high product quality. Receives OJT.
Prior experience and qualifications desired:
Education: Not required
Previous work experience: Not required
Special skills: Basic communication
Schedule:
Mon - Fri 3:p.m to 11:30 p.m.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
Job functions include but are not limited to the following
1. Knowledge of products & part numbers
2. Knowledge of components
3. Understand and follow cGMP procedures required to assemble and inspect product to specification
4. Build Quality into all aspects of the work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
5. Recognize common manufacturing defects
6. Set-up and operate all scheduled work station
7. Learn new manufacturing techniques if required
8. Other duties as appropriate
Physical mental demands:
1. Must possess basic communication skills
2. Must be alert, able to concentrate, use good judgment.
3. Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time, perform repetitive tasks and possess analytical skills
4. Majority of time spent standing, sitting
5. Occasional bending, reaching and manual dexterity required.
6. Moderate lifting up to 25 pounds
