INTERNATIONAL MARINA GROUP LP is Hiring a Dockhand Near Lewisville, TX

The Dockhand is responsible for assisting the marina team in order to serve marina customers and guests by performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to general operation of the docks and assisting boaters.

The Dockhand must work to maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the harbor and marina facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide SHM members with the best experience possibleGreet all customers in a manner that expresses a kind, courteous and professional characterHelp orient members and guests to the marina, facilities, and answer other commonly asked questionsAssist customers with general boating needsMaintain and clean restrooms, docks, walkways, grounds and other areas designated by managementEnsure docks and equipment are operational at all timesComply with OSHA regulations, environmental regulations, and adhere to all site rules and expectationsAvailability to work overtime when requiredAbility to work weekends and holidaysOther duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related trainingWear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and / or hard hats) as required for the task or work areaReport all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately Technical and Physical Requirements Ability to work safely around the waterMust be able to swimAbility to lift 30 poundsBasic boat handling skills preferredPrevious marina experience preferredPrevious customer service experience preferred Minimum Soft Skills Qualifications Eagerness to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading companyConsistently treats others with dignity and respectGenuinely serves others with humility and a positive attitudeFrequently demonstrates a bias toward actionAlways communicates effectively and courteously with fellow teammates and membersContinuously follows policies and procedures while seeking out new and better ways of accomplishing dutiesShows resolve and overcomes difficulties in a positive and productive mannerGladly provides responsive, and high level of service to our teammates and membersEagerly puts forth the extra effort to accomplish dutiesAdapts quickly and efficiently to changing priorities in order to meet teammate or member needs The Company Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC (SHM) is the largest owner and operator of marinas in the world.
