Injury Law Pros LLC (www.lawyerforall.com) is an aggressively growing personal injury law firm in South Florida.

We are looking an experienced plaintiff attorney (7 years of plaintiff personal injury experience). The position offers outstanding salary, commensurate with experience, full benefits and a bonus structure based on case settlements and trials.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation:

  • Meet with clients to discuss the details of their case.
  • Assess the viability of the case and provide legal advice.

2. Case Investigation:

  • Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence, including medical records, accident reports, witness statements, and other relevant documents.
  • Consult with experts such as accident reconstruction specialists or medical professionals to strengthen the case.

3. Legal Research:

  • Stay updated on relevant laws and precedents related to personal injury litigation.
  • Research legal issues specific to the case.

4. Drafting Legal Documents:

  • Prepare and file legal documents, such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Draft settlement demands and negotiation letters.

5. Negotiation:

  • Negotiate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties to reach favorable settlements for clients.
  • Participate in mediation or alternative dispute resolution processes.

6. Court Representation:

  • Represent clients in court during hearings, motions, and trials.
  • Present evidence, examine witnesses, and make legal arguments.

7. Client Communication:

  • Keep clients informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.

8. Legal Strategy:

  • Develop and implement legal strategies based on the specifics of each case.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and plan accordingly.

9. Trial Preparation and Trial Attendance:

  • Prepare trial strategies, including witness preparation and the development of persuasive arguments.
  • Compile and organize exhibits and evidence for presentation in court.
  • Represent Clients in trial.

10. Legal Ethics and Compliance:

  • Adhere to ethical standards and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the attorney-client privilege.

11. Continuing Legal Education:

  • Stay abreast of developments in personal injury law through continuous legal education.
  • Attend relevant seminars, workshops, and conferences.

12. Case Management:

  • Effectively manage a caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and cases are progressing appropriately.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on personal injury litigation.
  • Proven track record of successful case outcomes in personal injury matters.
  • Experience in all phases of litigation, from initial client consultation to trial.

Skills:

  • Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
  • Communicate with clients regarding legal strategy and other matters.
  • Handle injury cases from the onset of litigation through verdict or appeal.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • In-office meetings with clients from time to time.

Communication:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and relationship building.
