Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Advisor at International Kia Orland Park will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients who bring in their vehicles for maintenance and repairs. This individual will act as a liaison between the customers and the technicians and will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient service process. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive technology and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition to a generous salary, the Automotive Service Advisor will also receive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and discounts on vehicle purchases and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
- Provide estimates for services and repairs, and communicate any changes in cost or timeline to customers
- Work with the technicians to prioritize and schedule repairs in a timely manner
- Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Ensure all service records and invoices are accurate and properly documented
- Consistently maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service
- Stay up-to-date on current automotive technology and procedures
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Automotive Service Advisor
- ASE certification or equivalent is a plus
- Strong knowledge of automotive technology and repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer skills and experience with automotive dealership software
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
