What you’ll do:

As the Maintenance Supervisor you are responsible for the daily management of facilities and Maintenance workforce supplying support to buildings, grounds, and equipment repairs. You’ll provide technical guidance and training to your team. You will facilitate mechanical/electrical inspections and repairs to ensure inventory system integrity, maintaining a “service” oriented philosophy throughout the department and ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all employees. As the Maintenance Supervisor you’ll also assist in overseeing vendor agreements, including the coordination of all outside parts repairs. As the leader for the Maintenance team, you’ll demonstrate the ability and willingness to execute varying work assignments as necessary, within the job functions as described:

• Supervise facility and maintenance operations to maximize resources and meet internal customer requirements
• Responsible for minor projects and equipment upgrades, including equipment selection, design, and installation
• Meet budgeted expense targets and performance goals
• Coordination of manpower across various shifts
• Responsible for administering the work order system (MP2 or similar CMMS)
• Critical spare parts inventory system integrity
• Assist in executing a conditioned based predictive maintenance program
• Perform audits as required
• Responsibility for employee performance appraisals
• Maintain and enforce Human Resource and Safety Policies

What you have:

• BS in Engineering, Technical Management or Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years experience in a maintenance supervision environment
• Ability to direct day-to-day activities of skilled, technical personnel
• Solid PC skills to include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MP2 or related inventory systems
• Possess positive organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various departmental personnel
• Excellent communication, mechanical and analytical skills required.

• Utilize sound independent judgment
• Flexibility and adaptability in work schedule
