International Forest Products is Hiring a Programmer Near Foxborough, MA

SUMMARY: We are seeking a full-time Programmer to perform application enhancements, troubleshooting, and bug fixes as necessary. In this role, you are encouraged to automate processes and improve workflows so we can continue to be efficient as we expand our commodities and global reach. This role requires the ability to quickly grasp the business and key goals of our stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSITILITIES:

  • Develops, designs, and modifies programs based on functional and system requirements.
  • Ability to debug problems caused by hardware, operating systems software, application programs, or network failures.
  • Maintain documentation of systems, solutions, automated workflows, embedded standards and KPIs.
  • Assist in the development of user guides and manuals as necessary for system users. Assist in training as needed.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Ensure process integrity and conduct/improve continual quality control when testing.
  • Track and update your projects, using project management tool.
  • Attention to meeting goals and deliverable commitments.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaborate with a team.
  • Highly motivated, eager to learn and understand our business.
  • Solutions oriented and excellent problem solver.
  • Relational database work experience, Strong in Microsoft SQL-Server (2012/2016/2019 ), SSRS, SSIS, SSAS or T-SQL work experience.
  • Visual Basic, C#, or Java work experience.
  • Visual Studio experience preferred but not required.
  • Tableau reporting and bridge server experience or Power BI experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, emphasis in Excel.
  • Able to utilize tools and scripting languages, contribute to existing automated tasks and scheduling.
  • EDI/ANSI x12 experience preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in field such as business, information technology, computer science, information systems, or data science.
  • 2 – 4 Years of related professional work experience in this role.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
