POSITIONPURPOSE

Work in the Set-ups area of our manufacturing team, supporting safe food ingredient handling, accuracy of our quality control responsibilities in batch preparation, proper inventory management and oversight to this area of responsibility.

ESSENTIALOPERATORDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• Picks and stages all required materials for the partial room.
• Puts inventory away in racks; key inventory management accuracy responsibilities. All operators are required to do real-time transactions for inventory accuracy.
• Skilled in scan gun transactions, mounted unit, on the swing reach for inventory transactions, and user of the desktop computer for related inventory needs in Navision.
• Follow all plant safety rules, lockout procedures, and general plant policies.
• Follow all forklift safety procedures, equipment inspections, and operating policies.
• Follow all GMP's and food safety requirements.
• Supporting both Manufacturing and Distribution requirements by retrieving materials, storing, and/or staging for materials for Manufacturing or Distribution requirements.
• Supporting Manufacturing operations by pulling product lines, wrapping, and storing finished goods.
• Daily forklift inspections, maintenance, and communication of
• Warehouse management - First In, First Out (FIFO) and daily
• Communicate needs with direct Supervisor(s)
• Communicate any Human safety, Food safety, or Food Quality concerns; also, any Maintenance needs.
• Cross-Train and support daily manufacturing needs.
• General Sanitation and Housekeeping responsibilities, plant-wide.
• Active role in facility audits and inspections

WORKSCHEDULE

• Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd
• Must be willing to work a temporary assignment, alternative schedule or shift as requested by a supervisor.
• Non-exempt employees are required to work all scheduled weekend or overtime shifts when the need
