International Diamond Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Jewelry Estate Buyer to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and appraise estate jewelry, diamonds, and luxury watches brought in by clients for sale or trade.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to determine the value of items based on market trends, brand reputation, condition, and other relevant factors.
• Negotiate purchase prices with clients, ensuring fair and competitive offers while maximizing profitability for the company.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, transactions, and customer interactions using our internal systems.
• Collaborate with other team members, including sales associates and management, to ensure seamless integration of estate buying services with overall store operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market demand to inform buying decisions and pricing strategies.
• Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients, addressing their questions and concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the buying process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in jewelry buying, estate buying, or a related role.
• GIA certification or equivalent gemological credentials highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and luxury brands.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful deals.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately assess the quality and authenticity of jewelry items.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in using jewelry appraisal tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $45,386.00 - $66,086.00 per year
