Janitorial Help Wanted - Dedicated & Compassionate Team Member for Community Facility

Position: Janitorial Staff

Location: International Church of Las Vegas, 8100 Westcliff Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89145

Hours: Part- Time and Full-Time positions available

Are you a reliable, hardworking individual with a strong work ethic and a heart for service? We're looking for someone like you to join our team as a Janitor at our community facility. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all who visit and work here.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all facility areas, including restrooms, common areas, offices, and meeting spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and maintain a clean exterior.
• Restock restrooms and other areas with necessary supplies.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
• Set up and break down rooms for events, meetings, and gatherings.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a healthy environment.
• Help keep the parking lot clear of debris.
• Support the facility's mission and values by providing exceptional service to all who enter our doors.

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
• Physically capable of performing tasks that require bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
