Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason and Hod Carriers to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Your expertise in masonry techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of various projects.

Responsibilities:
- Build and repair walls, chimneys, fireplaces, patios, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, or stones
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or specifications
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
- Align bricks or stones and finish joints using trowels or jointers
- Cut bricks or stones to fit around obstacles or into desired shapes using saws or chisels
- Restore damaged brickwork by replacing bricks and applying appropriate finishes
- Install firebrick linings in industrial furnaces or boilers
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Skilled in using tools such as trowels, jointers, saws, and chisels
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and precision in executing masonry work

Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
