Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime
- Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems
- Weld, fabricate, and assemble parts as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
- Supervise and coordinate contractors when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair
- Proficient in welding, fabrication, and assembly techniques
- Familiarity with logic controllers and other industrial control systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to supervise and coordinate teams effectively
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
