We are hiring for a Sunday housekeeper; full 8 hour shift (8 am to 4 pm)Other days are available which are, not always, but typically half days (9 am to 2 pm)One year of housekeeping is prefered but not necessary. You must be available for weekends;You must have a good attitude and willingness to learn! As part of our team, you can even get a ski pass to Brighton Ski Resort for a discounted rate!(available to full time employees).
Responsibilities and duties:
- Clean lodge rooms and ensure standards are met; make beds, dust furniture, clean bathrooms, replace glasses and toiletries, etc.
- Clean hotel area small lobby, sun room, guest bathrooms, and stairs
- Stock and organize guest coffee and water station
- Ensure organization of cleaning supplies and laundry in the housekeeping closets and laundry rooms.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and toiletries in housekeeping closet and request from a manager more products when they are getting low.
- Periodically wash all comforters and comforter covers.
- Take out trash.
- Perform deep cleaning duties as needed.
- Ensure sheets and towels are not stained.
- Perform periodic inventory of sheets and toiletries as requested by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A good attitude.
- Endurance to walk and stand during your entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to go up and down stairs
We are located a beautiful, 15 minute drive (11 miles) from the Salt Lake Valley in the heart of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Brighton, Utah. We are 1 mile from Solitude Mountain Resort and 3 miles to Brighton Ski Resort. If you love the mountains you will love to work here! We have a great team and a mountain town vibe but with all the advantages of being open year round for added job security!
