The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

Shift Details: Fulltime - 40 Hours - Monday - Friday

Unit/Location: Western Slope Orthopedic Clinic, Grand Junction, CO

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association
• ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license, required.
• One year of acute care or clinic experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Prefer knowledge of orthopedic or surgical patients post - care.
