Job Description:

Nurse Practitioner in Cardiac Surgery - Denver, CO (NON-SURGICAL ROLE)

Your day.

As a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiac Surgery, you'll work with CV Surgeons and Advanced Practitioners to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with patients and teams in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.

• You would practice at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO
• You would work M-F, ~6am - 2pm in the clinic and hospital, no call/no weekends
• Inpatient workload consists primarily of rounding on patients in the CICU, discharges, working with the admission team, and consults
• In clinic, provide new patient H&P, follow ups, education
• This position will also be responsible for regulatory standards and practice metrics (STS)

Your experience.

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner, required
• Valid license/certification asNurse Practitioner in Colorado or able to obtain, required
• DEA and full prescriptive authority, required
• BLS and ACLS, required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP working in an inpatient or outpatient cardiology setting, required
