Medical Assistant (MA)

Currently seeking qualified Medical Assistant (MA) candidates for a full-time position in Fort Wayne. This contract position, lasting 13 weeks on day shift.

Shift is M-Th with 10 hour days. 2 years of recent MA experience is required. Pay ranges are $17 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant (MA)

• Take vitals
• Room patients
• Answer phone calls
• Initiate effective actions in emergencies.
• Back office duties

Requirements of the Medical Assistant

• 2 years of recent and related experience is required
• Must be able to work effectively independently, yet work together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering Vaccines, and allergy shots.
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program
• AAMA, AMT, CAAHEP, NHA, or ABHES certification as a medical assistant required
