Main Responsibility: To effectively manage operations to achieve financial goals. To effectively manage the scheduling of staffing professionals or staff designated with this responsibility (staffing coordinator). To maintain and expand customer base through direct sales and marketing.

Essential Functions For our Staffing Managers:

  • Manages staff to meet or exceed defined quality and performance standards.
  • Business development of new contracts within territory
  • Effectively use the designated CRM system..
  • Develop positive working relationships with all clients.
  • Works to achieve pre-established goals (i.e. sales targets, hours growth, gross margin targets.).
  • Maintains knowledge of current regulations for health care staffing.
  • Assists in recruitment of staffing professionals. Discusses policies and procedures with the providers and answers questions as needed.
  • Manages staff credentialing (using established guidelines for a Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO)).
  • Promotes an environment of high morale and teamwork.
  • Presents appropriate motivators, rewards, recognition and benefits for staffing professionals.
  • Takes appropriate and timely measures to meet the needs of the staffing employees and clients.
  • Identifies and resolves situations and/or problems, within authority limits, to prevent reoccurrence of any negative issues.
  • Maintains mature problem solving approach under stressful circumstances.
  • Performs staff functions as necessary.
  • Retains flexible schedules in order to service client and staffing employees requests and/or handle complaints.
  • Participates in various internal and external activities focused on increasing sales and recruitment; i.e. conventions, seminars and job fairs.
  • Assists in the development of recruitment strategies.
  • Analyzes and evaluates activities and processes. Proposes changes and new methods and programs to ensure attainment of goals.
  • Ensures pricing profitability, expense prudence and budget adherence.
  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
  • May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.

A few must haves for our Staffing Managers:

  • Four (4) year college degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline, or an equivalent, combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3) years to five (5) years staffing management experience, preferably in the health care industry or commercial staffing industry.
