Job details for the RN - Summer Camp, Head Nurse:

• $1800 per week
• Assignment Length; early June to late August
• Live on campus; private accommodation, rustic cabin w/bathroom, electric, wifi
• programs offered to neurodiverse youth, teens, and young adults
• over 250 campers, 200 staff members on site for 8 week camp and 10 day mini camp

Minimum responsibilities for the RN - Summer Camp, Head Nurse:

• May be asked to participate in 2 week pre-camp period for set up
• Supervise anywhere from 6 to 11 staff, depending time of summer
• In charge of creating schedules for staff
• Communicate with campers parents
• follow up on missing forms/medication shipments

Requirements for the RN - Summer Camp, Head Nurse:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in PA
• Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience; required
• Prior sleepaway camp or day camp experience; preferred
• Full Availability June through August as a Camp Resident; required
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
