Forklift Operator - Shipping, Monticello, Arkansas
Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Forklift Operator - Shipping in Monticello , Arkansas . Starting rate for this position is $21.33 per hour with the potential to grow based on skill level and experience.
What You'll Do

• Operate forklift in a safe and productive manner.
• Accurately load trucks, and catch planer line.
• Clean and organize shipping area
• Transfer material from planer outfeed to warehouse and other basic duties
• Fix units that have broken or missing strapping
• Adhere to all safety regulations
• Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections.
• Clean forklifts routinely using the pressure washer.
• Assist in changing tires or performing any preventative maintenance tasks as specified.
• Adhere to all safety policies and perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner to ones person and no damage to mill property occurs in anyway.
• Physical Requirements: Walking, Standing and Sitting, Stairs, Bending and Lifting (Up to 50 lbs.).

What You Offer

• High School Diploma education or GED preferred, not required
• Forklift certified or the ability to be certified within a reasonable amount of time and usually within one training course
• Ability to communicate effectively with your team and other departments
• Commitment to maintain a safe work environment without compromise
• Recognize problems and have them corrected immediately
• Understand the importance of teamwork and have a positive impact on the team
• Open-minded and positive in dealing with change and new ways of doing things
• Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
