Intereum’s AV Apprenticeship Program is a paid training program designed to take people who meet Intereum’s core values and have a strong interest in Audio Visual and grow them into high performing technicians. You’ll experience on the job and technical training that will allow you to build your skillset and advance your career, all while working Full Time.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Learn how to install Audio Visual solutions.
• Learn to read AV drawings and elevations.
• Support quality and working solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Support Technicians during installations.
• Learn to install AV systems according to systems documentation, industry standards and best practices.
• Hang and install projection screens, display panels and related AV equipment.
• Learn to pull, terminate, and test cable as well as build, populate and dress cable within equipment racks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic test equipment safely.
• Learn to interpret project drawings, schematics, engineering notes, operation manuals and construction blueprints.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout installation.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exhibit Intereum’s core values.
• Physical ability to squat, kneel, climb ladders from 8-12 ft, and lift 50lbs.
• Comfortable working in ceilings and tight spaces.
• Ability to handle pressure sensitive situations and provide professional communication to client.
• Time management and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, and ability to multitask and handle deadlines and timelines.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurable driving record.
• Ability to travel.
