Job Purpose

This is a position with the ICE Bonds group at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. ICE Bonds offers deep liquidity pools that support multiple trading protocols including click-to-trade, auction and RFQ, with a vast breadth of fixed income data. Focused on execution efficiency, ICE Bonds enables both anonymous and disclosed counterparty interactions, and trading from odd-lots to blocks. The ICE ETF Hub is another platform the ICE Bonds group is responsible for. The ICE ETF Hub provides standards to simplify the creation and redemption process across equity and fixed income ETFs and helps drive further efficiencies in the primary markets.

ICE Bonds is seeking a QA Automation Analyst to join our QA Automation team to help develop and implement best practices for automated regression and testing capabilities. The team is responsible for building and maintaining the automation of regression and load testing scripts for all the Ice Bond’s applications.

The candidate should be able to work independently, handle multiple simultaneous tasks and be adept at prioritizing their work. They should be comfortable collaborating with developers, product managers, and quality assurance groups to solve problems and obtain information needed to complete the assigned tasks. Most importantly they should demonstrate the ability to show initiative and be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality software is delivered in each release
• Build and maintain the test automation framework and test scripts that should include establishment of repeatable and automated procedures for data aging, baseline recording, trend development and test execution
• Research and resolve any broken automation scripts that fail during execution
• Ensures quality metrics are tracked in performance testing phases
• Support manual QA testing efforts in conversion of manual test cases into automated ones
• Participate in agile scrum to inject quality into the entire software delivery lifecycle
• Frequent interaction with project managers, developers, product managers and other quality assurance professionals in order to ensure that we deliver quality systems

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science; or five years of related
• 4 years of consistent working experience in QA automation
• 2 years of Object Oriented Programming preferably in Java or JavaScript
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration phases
• Extensive working knowledge of relational databases, strong SQL skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with JIRA, GIT, and Bitbucket or similar tools
• Experience with REST API and GUI test automation
• Experience with web related technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, JSON
• Experience with Performance testing and benchmarking using JMeter (a plus)

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week, and 3 days in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA or New York, NY.

Base Salary Range for New York Candidates

The expected base salary for this role is between $90,000 - 123,000. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
