Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Batch Maker to join our team. As a Batch Maker, you will be responsible for weighing and loading batch mixers according to formulas. Your attention to detail, ability to communicate error and adherence to safety protocols will be crucial to your success.
Responsibilities:
-Load and unload as well as stock materials with forklift into bays
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately using scales and measuring tools
- Follow batch ticket to mix ingredients in the correct order
- Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients thoroughly
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and other variables during the mixing process
- Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired product consistency
- Keep batch area tidy and safe.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
Experience:
-Forklift training
- Previous experience in a chemical production environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate mixing equipment
-Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards
Requirements:
-Ability to lift 30 lbs
-Respirator Mask Required during some tasks
-Gloves, steel toe boots, eye protection are required at all times
