Intercoastal Medical Group, Inc. is seeking customer service oriented individuals to join a growing practice serving the Sarasota and Manatee counties. Full-time Certified/Registered Medical Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse openings are currently available in the following departments:

*Internal Medicine and Family Practice (Sarasota & Lakewood Ranch)

*Dermatology (Lakewood Ranch)

*Allergy (Lakewood Ranch with commute to Sarasota)

*Cardiology (Sarasota)

*Endocrinology (Sarasota)

*Gastroenterology (Sarasota)

*Neurology (Sarasota)

*Float (all locations- full-time and PRN)

Responsibilities include but not limited to (will vary by specialty): triage patients (vital signs, review allergies, reconcile medications, update social history, document chief complaint), administer medications/injections/vaccines as directed by the supervising provider, perform EKG's, assist with ear lavages, triage clinical messages, obtain prior authorization for medications when needed, assist with prescription renewal requests, utilize the electronic medical record, and may be required to float to other offices when needed.

Requirements:

*Current Certification for Medical Assistant OR Florida LPN Licensure

*Current CPR Certification

*Previous Medical Assistant Experience (may be required for select positions)

*Basic HIPAA Knowledge

*Strong Computer Skills
