Our client is seeking a contract-to-hire Billing Clerk who will be responsible for client billing and receiving and applying incoming payments.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years office experience with light bookkeeping / accounting / billing
Responsibilities :
- Balance the monies spent to monies invoiced by double-checking manual records to the escrow records
- Call or send letters to keep positive escrow balance
- Call the client for collection on negative balances
- Verify all necessary documentation has been provided to invoice
- Post escrows accordingly
- Post incoming payments daily on the Invoice Journals
