Works under the guidance of Lab. Supervisor. You would have to retrieve lab orders from the computer and upload the lab results into the electronic medical record. You will have to keep track of labs ordered, order lab supplies, and notify Fed-Ex to come pick up labs, in addition to printing labels for specimens, drawing the labs, spinning down and preparing for shipment. They are responsible for keeping the lab clean and organized.

Yrs of Experience in Specialty: One year experience within the last 3 years.

Minimum Education: High school diploma and completion of Phlebotomy Program.

Certification/State License: Phlebotomy Certificate.

BLS: Required

Reference: Supervisory and professional references.
