Experienced Technician Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have a great experience.
• Install electronic systems such as distributed audio/video systems, home theater systems, and security systems.
• Configure and diagnose audio/video and networking equipment.
• Install speakers and other equipment into or on ceilings and walls.
• Install equipment into a 19" rack with detailed wire management.
• Install cables in new and existing construction.
• Strip, dress, and terminate cables on wall plates, patch panels, and equipment.
• Use and follow cable plans and system connection diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and solve moderate to complex problems.
• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle including cleaning and organization.
• Work independently and lead others to complete assigned tasks.
• Interact with customers and present a professional appearance.

Requirements

• Technical aptitude and experience with home automation.
• Crestron, Control4, Savant, URC, Lutron, or similar experience.
• Ability to communicate with clarity, professionalism, and sensitivity with co-workers and clients.
• Desire to be hands-on and provide great customer service.
• Complete work with accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
• At least three years experience in the low voltage audio/video installation field (NOT A/V production or engineering)
• High school diploma.
• A clean driving record must be maintained at all times (background checks will be conducted).
• Candidates must supply basic hand tools.
• Some travel.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year
