The Scrum Master position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of value using Agile practices. The Scrum Mater contributes significantly to their team's success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on delivering business priorities.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 88,700 to $195,800. The final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

For more information on the benefits we provide to our employees, please click here What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications In this role, you will be working with a team or teams of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long-term value for our customers.
  • Experience leading teams in delivery using Agile practices as a Scrum Master
  • Experience in business analysis including requirement gathering, defect troubleshooting, release planning, and coordination
  • Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively
  • Team-first, empathetic, servant leader with a growth mindset.
  • Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from agile best practices and values
  • Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement
  • Guide Agile teams to consistently deliver customer value
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the business requirements, and customer workflow, and to help identify the skills and teams needed to deliver value
  • Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams
  • Guide the team in release planning, defect management, root cause analysis, and project timelines
  • Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, Retrospectives and Quarterly planning
  • Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.
  • Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency
