1. POSITION OBJECTIVE

This position exists to perform general account reconciliation, B-1 project registration, CIP and Fixed Assets closing and reconciliation, credit card payment reconciliation, sales & use tax filing, and other various accounting tasks. This position requires accuracy and completing tasks in time.

1. Prepare journal entries for month-end closing and perform general ledger account reconciliation
2. Works with the division on issues surrounding the monthly close and reconciliation of the balance sheet.
3. Perform CIP B-1 project registration and closeout
4. Perform Fixed Assets closing and reconciliation
5. Prepare external audit reconciliation files and support Financial audit requests
6. Handle Headquarters expense allocation such as Health Insurance, W/C, Property Insurance, etc.
7. Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns
8. Assist with U.S. sales & use tax filing and audit
9. Assist with Canada GST/HST/QST/PST filing and audit
10. Assist with property tax payment and reconciliation
11. Assist with Tax department with Corporation income tax audit
12. Perform credit card payment reconciliation
13. Assist AP payment entry and answer vendor’s questions on payment issue
14. Non-AR/AP cash booking
15. Prepare survey for government or related institutions
16. Assist Corporate Controller in various special projects and assignments.
17. Respond requests related to accounting from Taiwan management team
