The Clinical Quality Assurance Nurse Team Leader is a bachelor’s prepared registered nurse with interest and expertise in quality assurance and patient safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance, patient safety work, and nursing leadership. This a hybrid position, based in Quincy, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Management of members of the quality assurance team.
• Under the leadership of the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance create and maintain standards for quality excellence at IntelyCare.
• Assist in the development of process and procedures including but not limited to investigation of facility complaints and feedback.
• Investigate, research, and prioritize clinically significant events as outlined by Department of Healthand/or state regulatoryagencies regardingclient complaints, ICNSA employees feedback, and allegations including documentation, falls with injury, death/serious harm, medication errors/diversion, practicing impaired and possible abuse/neglect/exploitationallegations.
• Assist Quality Assurance Nurses and collaborate with People & Culture regarding employment decisions of ICNSA employees.
• Maintain working knowledge and compliance of CMS rules and state regulatory agenciesrelated to senior services of covered states to ensure ICNSA employees service compliance.
• Assist with state agency requests for information such as Department of Public Health, Department of Health, Area on Aging, and local law enforcement.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and client leaders to build and maintain client relationships and with ICNSA employees Success Managers to elevate the practice of ICNSA employees.
• Support Quality Assurance Nurses in the assessment of ICNSA employee’s competency and re-training to promote increased quality of care.
• De-escalation of ICNSA employees, who have requested additional support, while discussing clinical complaints.
• Support Quality Assurance Nurses in advocating for ICNSA employees involved in alleged incidents or client dissatisfaction.
• Be agents for ICNSA employees when discussing concerns regarding diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging to improve job satisfaction.
• Assist, update, and review the ICNSA job descriptions.
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of quality assurance employees as needed.
• Develop educational programs and materials to meet the strategic business needs for IntelyCare in collaboration with the Director of Education, including trainings for new ICNSA employee Q types as we merge into new markets.
• Perform audits for quality and safety compliance as well as program effectiveness.
• Actively engage in personal professional activities including publications and presentations.
• In the event of emergency, off-hours support may be required.
