UH Ahuja is growing! This opening are apart of UH Ahuja Phase 2 expansion happening now. We are meeting the increasing demands of Northeast Ohio by adding an additional 216,000 sq. ft. hospital tower and 78,000 sq. ft. sports medicine complex, The expansion will increase the medical center by more than 68 percent.

Our Surgical Services area is going from 10 OR rooms to 18 OR rooms later this year. We are hiring now to train the staff with will continue to provide services in General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Thoracic, Maxillofacial, ENT, Neuro, Robotics, Ortho, Podiatry, Vascular, Spine and Cardiac Surgery. Provide safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using nursing interventions in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Essential duties include, Provide patient care, function in a primary scrub position. Assist with technical responsibilities in assigned operative procedures. Assure appropriate instruments, supplies are present and in proper working condition. Provide labeled medications with correct doses on the sterile field and adheres to patient safety expectations. Perform other duties which support the operative team, includes following patient care hand off protocol, OR standards, protocols and policies in collaboration with an RN or ACN. Actively participate in the quality improvement process. Involved in learning, self improvement.

Completion of Certified Surgical Technologist Program. 2 years program, Certification or degree.

$3,000 sign-on bonus for 1 years of external Surg Tech experience after 90 days of employment in good standing.
