Responsibilities

  • Uses project plans and specifications to develop pricing for bids, as well as manages bid and submittal preparation for plan and specifications, design-build and miscellaneous jobs.
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Confers with project personnel/contractor to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
  • Works with manufacturers and contractors in processing warranty and freight claims.
  • Sets up new jobs, and maintains all job information/status, in QuickBase/Electronic file, as needed.
  • Schedule/Dispatch/Coordinate start-ups and tech support between technicians, customer and end user.
  • Orders equipment and parts from manufacturers, as specified by the Account Executive.
  • Enters sales orders and purchase orders and follows-up on parts by other order entries.
  • Resolves discrepancies in job progression to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
  • Uses project plans and specifications to develop pricing for bids, as well as manages bid and submittal preparation for plan and specifications, design-build and miscellaneous jobs.
  • Assists with job take-offs and estimating.
  • Assist with training of new Project Coordinators.
  • Works closely with contractors, engineers and AE’s on equipment selections
  • Supports accounts payable and accounts receivable activities (project accounting), as requested.
  • Meet with customers/service technicians/engineers to build relationships.
  • Assist with training on Excel, Word, and Adobe,
  • Assists with job take-offs and estimating.
  • Take part in jobsite, or office meetings, with customers to discuss equipment and solutions to problems.
  • Communicates and updates customer and Account Executive on shipping schedule, as well as coordinates shipments and deliveries of product to jobsites.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook is required. Must be very versed with product selection and ordering systems (Sage, Nailor SelectWorks, BAC Connect, Daikin Tools, etc.).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers in a timely, and professional, manner. Outstanding written and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Previous experience and/or current skills must include: Superior problem-solving skills, organization, proven ability to manage detail on multiple projects simultaneously, while under pressure/deadlines, demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude.
  • Two-year College or university is required; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $61,000-$71,0000
