Intelligent Waves has an immediate opportunity for an Offboard Mission Support (OMS) mission system SME supporting F-35 flight test execution located at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV.

Location: Off-board Mission Support (OMS) SME I position is based in Las Vegas, NV at Nellis AFB.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Security Clearance: must hold an active Secret Clearance.

Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for testing and integration of F-35 mission planning software• Coordinates with Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office (JPO) and Lockheed Martin (LM) Off-Board Mission Support (OMS) on new Mission Planning Environment (MPE) software• Coordinates with 57 Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) to ensure timely/effective delivery/support of software updates, day-to-day execution, and looks for opportunities to streamline operations and coordination between OMS and Maintenance• Coordinates, plans, and supports Maintenance Operational Test (MxOT)• Communicates with CAF/Fleet squadrons to ensure test operations are fleet representative and encompass majority of challenges/complications CAF/Fleet squadrons may encounter• Responsible for coordinating and supervising deployed testing of OMS• Assists in developing joint, integrated Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for combat and training operations (OMS/MPE efficiencies)• Maintains currency in ALIS/Joint Technical Directive with FSE equivalent privileges• Coordinates with Test Director (TD)/Software Project Manager (PM) to execute validation/verification and regression (as required) of MPE settings and functionality• Works with Division Weapons Officer and LM to test and optimize MPE settings based on mission requirements and as requested by CAF/Fleet input• Liaises with Developmental Test (DT) and cross-service Operational Test (OT) sites for requisition and reposition of early findings, fixes, workarounds, and best practices for new OMS/MPE software• Authors and recommends watch items to TD and enterprise stakeholders• As required, analyzes, builds, designs specific test plans or test objectives, and collects test data relevant to new MPE software builds

Qualifications

• 10 years’ indepth experience with F-35 or any fixed wing airframe
• Experience with Mission Planning and Mission Planning Systems
• Must hold a minimum of an active Secret Clearance
