1. Performance atskilllevel2 inaudiotranslation (pertheILRAudioTranslation skilllevel descriptions) from the required language(s) into idiomatic, standard American English.

2. Equivalentoffour(4)yearsfull-timecombined cryptologiclanguageprocessing,related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.

• Performance ofthefollowing tasks constitutes acceptable cryptologic language processing experience: Within Cryptologic Operations: scanning and sorting/categorizingforeign language materials; recovering essential elements of information; producing and performing quality control of GISTs,translationsandtranscripts; compilingand updatingoperational workingaidsanddatabases; and drafting intelligence reports.
• Performanceofthefollowingtasksconstitutesacceptable related languageexperience:oral interpretation(from the required language into English and vice versa); written translation (from the required language intoEnglish and vice versa); audio translation (from the required language into English); audio transcriptionin the required language; document exploitation that involves gisting/translation(from the required language into English); and teaching therequired language.
• Performanceoffollowingtasksconstitutesacceptablerelatedcryptologicexperience: Within Cryptologic Operations: target development; network analysis; speaker identification; language identification anddocumentexploitationthatinvolvessorting/categorizing/language identification.
