As part of Ally’s rapidly growing Bank, Invest, Lending and Digital Technologies (BILD) team, you will be responsible for building APIs and software components for a major strategic expansion of our Credit Card and Lending line-of-business. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an agile development team that will implement our vision of a modern API and omni-channel Digital Servicing platform, to accelerate product development and evolution of our customer servicing capabilities.
As part of this, you will implement reusable application frameworks, components and constructs that will accelerate delivery of our top project initiatives. Additionally, as an engineer in this dynamic team, you will seek to continuously enhance and streamline developer experiences with tools and automation controls that will accelerate speed-to-market and improve the quality of software. You will use your technical expertise, industry knowledge and passion for continuous learning to help shape the roadmap for platform modernization, reduce operational overhead and enable Ally to offer best-in-class customer experiences.
This role will provide you with ample opportunity to apply problem solving, software architecture and design concepts, and the latest technology to implement systems and solutions that drive real business results. You will collaborate with developers and architects from other enterprise teams and participate and lead technical communities of practice.
