Role: Jr. Lab Tech

Location: Gretna, LA 70053

Duration: 6 Months

Shift Timings: 12 AM to 8:30am (Wednesday to Sunday)

Job Description:

• Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests and makes qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases.
• May also set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for the tests, research, or process control.
• Must possess diploma or degree at the Associate or Bachelor level, no experience required.

Note:

• 100% Onsite.
• Temp to perm potential.
• Extractionist
• A B.S. degree in biology or chemistry is required.
• Bonuses-$1000 after 60 days and $1000 6 months (eligibility dependent on attendance, performance and behavior).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Sample Preparation and Extraction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Laboratory Equipment Operation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Chemical Handling and Testing: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Gretna, LA 70053: Relocate before starting work (Required)
