The Senior Associate, Asset Management is responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of commercial real estate projects throughout the United States. The position requires an in-depth understanding of the underlying project assets and our investment structures, including managing project performance, financial reporting, and overall risk management. RESPONSIBILITES
Proactively manage a portfolio of commercial real estate projects to identify and mitigate financial, legal, and operational risks.
Work with and support the Property Management, Brokerage, Accounting and Construction functions to ensure optimal performance across the portfolio. Be the first source of contact for issues and formulate effective solutions for positive outcomes.
Coordinate and Implement tenant improvement and construction draw packages and assessment of construction investment and/or lending risk.
Ability to work through rapidly changing market indicators and implement modifications to the respective asset business plan.
Facilitate the delivery of investment reports and other benefits to investors relations team.
Manage timely completion of portfolio reporting and deliverables.
Analyze and interpret legal documents.
Identify changes in asset performance from underwriting expectations. Performs asset risk evaluations and monitor accordingly.
Effectively communicate and develop relationships with other commercial real estate stakeholders, 3rd party vendors and professional service firms.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S./B.A. degree or higher
5 years of experience required. Must have in-depth working knowledge of commercial real estate, construction, and finance and accounting applications as they relate to commercial properties.
Missouri Real Estate Salesperson License
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated experience in legal document review and negotiation.
Understanding of basic finance and accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Windows, and Teams.
Highly motivated, self-starter, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Adept at working both independently and in a team setting.
