Job Summary:
This leader has operational accountability and oversight and manages the daily activities of the Health Information Management (HIM) department. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:

• Require five (5) years of supervisory experience with RHIT certification or three (3) years of experience with RHIA certification.
• Require a bachelor’s degree in health information management or related field; or must obtain within two (2) years of hire date.
