Inteleos Inc is Hiring a Remote Clinical Content Specialist

Description

Overall Position Purpose:

This is a part-time position. The purpose of this position is to provide clinical expertise, guidance, and consultation for the development of Inteleos-sponsored education and examination products. The Clinical Content Specialist will ensure the accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness of clinical content. This position serves as a clinical resource for others within the Inteleos organization. The Clinical Content Specialist will promote and support the Inteleos culture of inclusivity.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform content review of test items, Inteleos-sponsored education products, including those created by partner organizations or contractors and media for Inteleos-sponsored examination content including, but not limited to, certification, maintenance of certification, practice examinations;
  • Maintain metadata associated with all examination items and media within item banks or pools;
  • Select items for inclusion in item pools;
  • Review media assets for quality; 
  • Perform periodic comprehensive technical accuracy reviews of education and assessment content;
  • Provide subject matter expertise as needed for other Assessment Division and company-wide projects;
  • Maintain and follow processes/procedures as required by American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for organizational accreditation;
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and conferences, which may require some weekend work or traveling;
  • And other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Environment

  • Works under general supervision with broadly defined work objectives.
  • Makes decisions of some complexity regarding work design, projects, etc., which regularly impact the next organizational layer and may impact an organizational function.
  • Work projects and products are subject to management review for content, quality, and appropriateness.
  • Incumbent generally has no formal supervisory responsibility, though they may provide regular work direction to other employees.

Work Environment

The incumbent will work at a desk in an office environment, either in the corporate office or in an approved remote setting. Evening/weekend work and travel will be required. There are minimal requirements to lift or move equipment.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Certification, or equivalent in a related field preferred;
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, and/or Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer holding at least one specialty, multiple preferred:
  • Currently practicing clinical sonographer, or relevant clinical experience within the last three years.

Required Qualifications/ Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical ultrasound within registered specialty area;
  • Exceptional attention to detail; 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills;
  • Understanding of clinical education, training, and process implementation;
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, and the ability to interact effectively, efficiently, and professionally with volunteers and individuals at all levels of the organization;
  • Ability to manage and maintain confidential materials;
  • Demonstrated comfort with and curiosity about new and existing technologies;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills; and
  • Ability to problem solve issues that arise and make recommendations for solutions.
