Job Description


Join our team as a Module Equipment Technician at Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation (NM DMO), where innovation thrives, and we drive the development of leading-edge technology. Enjoy the work-life balance with our compressed work week schedule, alternating between four days on and three days off, then three days on and four days off.

Location: Rio Rancho, NM
Facilities: Fab 11X/Fab 9
Shift Openings: Shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7

Role of a Module Equipment Technician: As a Module Equipment Technician, you will:

  • Engage in all aspects of wafer production, including operations, equipment maintenance, process, and training.

  • Analyze operating data to conduct real-time equipment adjustments and optimize processes.

  • Manage qualitative material runs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.

  • Execute operational tasks, preventative maintenance, and collaborate in diagnosing equipment issues within the manufacturing process.

  • Drive process improvements, troubleshoot nonstandard events in the production line, and assess technological health and stability.

  • Engage in safety forums and Emergency Response Team activities as required.

  • Navigate a range of tasks from strictly defined to highly complex, employing sound judgment and initiative to resolve nonstandard issues and make recommendations.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree/certification in an equipment-focused program (such as Automotive Maintenance, HVAC, Mechatronics, or Aviation maintenance) AND

At least one of the following, obtained in the last 5 years:

  • 2 year of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience OR

  • 4 years of military equipment maintenance experience OR

  • 4 years of experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, or repair in a professional capacity

  • Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day.

  • Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience influencing the development of new specs, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.

  • Familiarity with process control systems.

  • Proficiency in interpreting schematics and complex diagrams.

  • Experience in integrated circuit fabrication.
