NM DMO (New Mexico Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization) will play an important role in Intel's recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy to meet the accelerating global demand for semiconductors. NM DMO F11x has a unique charter to not only deliver high-volume manufacturing products but additionally design and develop Silicon Photonics (SiP), EMIB, and Foveros. NM DMO is seeking a Module Group Leader (MGL) for Defect Metrology (Defmet).
The Defmet MGL will manage a team of technology development and sustaining engineers to start up (Install and Qual), develop NPI recipes, ramp and sustain tools and processes in one or more processes including Silicon Photonics, EMIB, and Foveros. This includes all control points for safety, quality, velocity, cost, people, and new technology ramp deliverables. The MGL will be a key contributing member of the area team that drives 168-hour improvement, alignment, and results. Responsibilities include New Product Introduction (NPI) development, monitoring and sustaining tool availability and performance, cost, capacity and improving the manufacturability of all new technology processes. The ideal Defmet MGL candidate will be expected to role model the factory's guiding principles and reinforce them with their team.
Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
Setting priorities for the team for multiple process segments, getting results across technologies and boundaries, ensuring an inclusive work environment, developing employees and managing performance.
Plans, provides resources for, and directs activities to ensure the safety and quality of our employees while meeting schedules, standards, and costs.
Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.
Identifies and analyzes process validation problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.
Defines the roadmaps to meet requirements, milestones, and goals for process technologies.
Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity.
The ideal candidates should have the following behavioral traits:
Excellent collaboration skills across departments and organizations.
Contribute to organizational development by establishing business processes, standardization, and efficiency improvements.
Be unafraid to dive deep into understanding the technical details of a multitude of analytical metrology and in-line process validation techniques and lead problem-solving efforts if/when needed within metrology and across all process areas.
Have a track record of innovation in metrology equipment and process control.
Have a track record of tool installation, new process startup activities, and knowledge of ramp process and equipment needs.
Define and establish flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.
Plan and conduct experiments to improve metrology equipment functionality.
Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
Be flexible in accommodating changing priorities and working hours to support business needs.
Relocation assistance provided.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a bachelor's or a higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or related technical degree AND have at least 5 years of experience as a process engineer in Defect Metrology.
OR candidate must have at least 10 years of experience as a process engineer with 5 years minimum of manager experience.
Must be willing to relocate to New Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to defect metrology toolsets and technologies, supporting multiple process areas and process segments is strongly desired.
Prior development experience working with defect metrology tools such as Brightfield, Darkfield, Macro, and SEM technologies.
Prior experience with data analysis of large data sets pertinent to metrology tool behavior and response paradigms.
Prior experience providing defect metrology solutions to process modules such as Thin Films, Lithography, Metrology, Etch, Implant, Diffusion, CMP.
