We are looking to hire a Cloud Software Develpoment Architect to build a team that demonstrates formal site reliability engineering principles and experience successfully leading sophisticated multi-team DevOPS projects.
Help build and manage a team of cloud software professionals who are responsible for delivering results across a broad range of cloud software, including software development, design, debug, validation, and optimization, cloud orchestration, and/or cloud customer enablement.
May also provide architectural and technical guidance to ensure sound engineering practices are followed. Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.
Values and promotes culture of collaboration, mentorship, documentation, testing, GIT and parallel development, CI/CD, data driven decisions, observability, and interested in a leadership role to work closely with others to help them achieve their best. Knows how to work in a fast-growing organization, balancing time to market, usability, reliability, and technical debt.
Has proven experience in infrastructure management in large Linux-based environments, microservice technologies such as K8S and KubeVirt, and automation of manual workflows.
Knows how to develop and own a roadmap to rapidly improve automation, grow the team, build out a hybrid cloud, and migrate bare-metal workloads into virtualized or containerized infrastructure.
Has experience building and operating large, complicated distributed systems that serve internal and external customers.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications: The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline ie Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics and 6 years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in a technical discipline ie Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics and 4 years of experience in:
Minimum Qualifications:
4 years' with remote deployment and administration of Linux servers
3 years' leading SRE or DevOPS teams of 5 people
5 years of Quality Assurance

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with BigPanda, ServiceNOW frameworks and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana and Zabbix
Strong communications, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to deliver, and operate web scale, high growth systems with high reliability and availability targets
Experience running a highly visible, 24x7 mission-critical service using SRE and DevOps practices
Experience to work in global team
Experience running serverless infrastructure and supporting a high availability SaaS environment
