This position requires Parent aides to build relationships with families and supervise visits between parents and children while providing appropriate intervention strategies. Families are in a difficult season when their children are in care. We provide a safe place in which parents are able to visit their children. A Parent aide is in communication with Case Workers as well as the family. This position may require some substance screening as well. This position does require some travel.

• REQUIREMENTS:
• A high school diploma or equivalency
• Pass a background check
• Have working knowledge of child development and the role of the family, and be able to provide services which promote child development
• Two Years experience working with children and/or families
• Excellent communication skills
• High-level of problem-solving skills
• Passion for working with people
• Need to have an understanding of basic computer skills (must have access to computer)
• Must have reliable transportation and up-to-date car insurance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
