Bulk Shipping/Receiving Operator - Mooresville, IN-$18/Hr.

Shift: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• The operator performs essential tasks within the shipping and receiving department.
• Responsibilities include picking and shipping customer orders for both trucks and parcels.
• They label products, receive non-bulk materials, and unload bulk tankers.
• Additionally, they move tankers in and out of bays using a spotter or yard truck.
• Adherence to plant safety, quality, and environmental policies is crucial.

Key Duties:

• Forklift Operation:

• Safely operate a forklift and obtain a forklift license.
• Perform daily checklists for forklift preventive maintenance.

• Order Fulfillment:

• Pick, pack, and ship orders using the FIFO method (selecting the oldest batch first).
• Prepare FedEx shipments.

• Safety and Procedures:

• Adhere to safety, work procedures, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Properly label products.

• Receiving:

• Receive inbound raw materials, including unloading bulk tankers.
• Operate a spotter or yard truck.
• Receive empty totes and drain them.

• Work Environment:

• The job operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes, noise, machinery, and dust/airborne particles.

• Physical Demands:

• Ascend/descend forklifts, stairs, and spotter trucks.
• Manually lift materials up to 35 lbs.
• Maintain and clean work areas, including warehouses and tanker stations.

• Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.
• OSHA PIT (Power Industrial Truck) Certification
