Integrity Trade Services is partnering with a local Engineering company to hire an MEP Plumbing Engineer! The plumbing Engineer assists the senior design staff in the execution of technical activities required on assigned projects and learns discipline-specific technical standards and procedures. Assists the project team in the production of projects on time, within budget, and consistent with industry standards. Under supervision participates in technical studies, investigations, and design on assigned projects.
**Experience with REVIT software is required**
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering services for both new construction and renovations include, but are not limited to, the design and peer review of the following systems:

PLUMBING

• Domestic Cold & Hot Water Systems
• Domestic Vent & Sanitary Waste Systems
• Natural Gas Distribution
• Roof Drain Distribution
• Fire Protection Systems
• Medical Gas Distribution Systems
• Laboratory Gas Distribution Systems

Plumbing Engineer Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Learns to understand industry standards and company technical policies and procedures during the execution of projects for clients
• Observes and learns the industry standards and practices of design analyses using industry software
• Routinely assists with production of designs using Revit and/or CADD with the assistance of senior design staff
• Under supervision, assists in the execution of design processes and analysis on assigned projects and requests assistance from design staff when needed
• Under supervision, performs computer-based engineering calculations and system design functions
• Assists the design team in the coordination of project designs with other disciplines to determine equipment needs, provides input for operating procedures, and provides technical information
• Learns how to communicate design requirements with contractors and equipment sales representatives to determine project scope and feasibility
• Accompanies senior design staff in performing project job site visits to investigate field conditions and monitor progress based on design specifications, owner expectations, and building codes
• Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, schematics, and engineering reports
• Perform plumbing analysis, design, and generation of construction documents for a variety of building types (institutional, commercial, municipal, industrial, etc.)
• Report to Project Manager / PE and provide assistance as requested in the areas of construction administration / project management
• Maintain and organize all plumbing engineering related documents and schedules, along with any associated general project documents
• Provide review of plumbing design submittals and other construction administration
• Actively participating in project, client, and team meetings
• Reviewing, preparing, and modifying designs
• Analyzing reports, specifications, and studies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successfully completed a bachelor’s or higher degree in plumbing engineering.
• ethodical approach to problem solving to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
• Wonderful written communication and attention to detail, with an ability to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred.
• Knowledge of industry specific software (i.e., Revit and AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a range of people from subcontractors to project owners
