Integrity Trade Services, Inc. is Hiring a Heavy Duty Forklift Operator Near Houston, TX
This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.
Integrity Trade Services is hiring Forklift Operators for a distributor of Carbon and Stainless Pipe, Fittings and Flanges to perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the pipe yard. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire.
Location: Houston, Texas 77051
Schedule/Shift Details/Pay Rates:
2nd Shift 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM - $17to $18/hr $1 Shift Diff. DOE
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
- Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
- 3 - 5 years of pipe yard and forklift experience
- Experience operating a heavy equipment industrial forklift (25K pounds )
- Forklift Certification required
- Experience handling pipe (both carbon and stainless steel) a plus
- Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
- Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test
