Integrity Professional Search Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for an awesome manufacturer that is vastly growing in the Muskogee Area!

Experience required:

Experience:

  • Two years’ experience at a minimum is required in leading or supervising an industrial maintenance team.
  • SAP PM experience a plus
  • Must be available to work 12-hour day and night shifts, weekends, call-outs if needed

Summary:

this individual will have demonstrated work history that shows a pattern with continuous improvement and focus to keep production machinery running at a peak level of performance and provide related services to support the plant in reaching its goal of excellence. Within the maintenance department strategies and process need to be developed or enforced to facilitate maintenance on equipment and facilities which includes HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, engineering, building maintenance, welding and fabrication while maintaining safety of fellow employees, the community, and the environment. Additionally, you will be required to inspect the facility, hire other maintenance professionals, order parts and equipment, record daily maintenance activity within our Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP), delegate work responsibilities, contact service providers and contractors and prepare work schedules. The role is responsible for strategic planning, budget control, work management, and overall performance of the maintenance organization.

General Skills Required:

  • Possess high level of safety awareness
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency when completing projects and assignments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and adjust priorities as necessary
  • Fully execute on assignments
  • Supervises and assigns the work of maintenance employees
  • Inspects work for completeness
  • Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfers equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary
  • Keeps timecards and other routine records through Kronos and SAP
  • Coordinates or inspects, operates, and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation
  • Coordinates and inspects major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all aspects of the facility
  • Minimize severity or frequency of accidents of contractors and maintenance personnel through risk identification process
  • Review weekly maintenance schedule
  • Address concerns with the maintenance coordinator and Manager
  • Complete maintenance jobs in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency
  • Streamline associated repair costs and job execution
  • Ensure prompt repairs by responding to emergency breakdowns
  • Supply reporting to the maintenance coordinator on repair jobs including consumption of tools, materials, man hours and skills
  • Review equipment history files
  • Ensure accurate recorded histories in work order completions
  • Report maintenance performance during major overhauls turn arounds, shutdowns, and start-up
  • Develop and execute training plan for maintenance workers
  • Provide grievance counseling when required.
  • Assign and reassign work as per emergencies and plant priorities
  • Make sure that maintenance jobs are in accordance with all corporate policies and legislated regulations
  • Promote communication as well as good relations between the production and the maintenance departments. Ensure housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained
  • Update inventories and other supplies as needed
  • Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions
  • Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties

  • Demonstrated understanding of technology including complexities of products, machinery, and costs
  • Competency in evaluating equipment function design and impact on operation or maintainability.
  • Extensive knowledge of reliability technologies, practices, measurements, and methods including root cause analysis, life cycle costing, Failure Analysis, RCM, Six Sigma, predictive sciences, and condition monitoring

Education:

  • High School or GED. Eighteen months of education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair, or a closely related area
